CERN Students Programme for the Estonian students

Annually, a limited number of Estonian students can participate in the CERN Summer Student Programme. CERN is the world leading international laboratory of high energy physics in Geneva, Switzerland. The lecture programme from July to August includes lectures in theoretical and experimental high energy physics and IT. The programme offers students of physics, IT and engineering an opportunity to join in the day-to-day work of research teams participating in experiments at CERN. All travel and living expenses of the participants will be covered.

An applicant of the programme has to send

  • application letter
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • description of the previous studies and research
  • list of passed lectures (with exam grades) at the university

to the coordinator of the programme by email raidal@kbfi.ee or by post Martti Raidal, KBFI, Rävala pst. 10, 10143 Tallinn. Additional information can be asked by phone (+372) 645 4711 or email raidal@kbfi.ee.

The deadline for the summer 2014 is January 10, 2014.

The participation of the Estonian students is supported by the Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia.
