Grid technology offers many possibilities for enterprises in the fields where the intensive distributed computing and data management is needed.
In collaboration between the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics (NICPB), the BalticGrid project, the University of Tartu and the companies KOKO Arhitektid OÜ and Produktsioonigrupp OÜ a first spin-off company have been established, Boson OÜ. The main goal of the company is to develop distributed services for design, architecture and film production companies.
