Laboratory of High Energy and Computational Physics (HEPC) is a research laboratory at the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics (NICPB) which represents Republic of Estonia at CERN.
Our research interest is focused on theoretical and experimental high energy and particle physics and massive distributed data analyses on the Grid. In addition our research interests include Grid development, Monte Carlo modeling in particle physics, computational material science and computational physics in general.
HEPC belongs to the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) Collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. We collaborate with the similar groups at the Helsinki Institute of Physics, Tartu University, Tallinn University of Technology and Lund University.
Our group is responsible for the educational programme of the Estonian students at CERN supported by the Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia.
